The following is a list that was sent to me on extremely rare CDs, listed by country it was released in. Once again, I own none of these and if a copy of any of these is out there, I'll pay the price to get it.

 United Kingdom

 * English Rose -The Jam song by Paul Weller. Recorded especially for and released on NME's Racket Packet cassette 1982 Cat No. NME 006. The cassette came free with the paper.

* Alfie - Aside from being the B-side to Don't Leave Me Behind this version of the Bacharach/David song is also featured on a WEA Records compilation album entitled Under The Covers (1988, WX146 242268). It also features on the accompanying four-track radio promo single of the same name (SAM431)

* Apron Strings - As featured on the soundtrack album to John Hughes' She's Having A Baby (1988, IRS/Hughes Music, IRS 6211). This is a different version to the one that appears on Idlewild and Home Movies. Recorded as a demo with a small band.

* The Language Of Life - Special promo wooden box with perspex lid containing album CD, Driving cassette single and biographical insert.

* Take Me (Clifton Mix) b/w Take Me (Clifton Instrumental) - 100 promo copies only. Remixed by Bristol Baseline and released on 'white' label 12" singles to clubs in 1990 under name E.B.T.G. Plain sleeve. Promo catalogue number - SAM 673 (Blanco Y Negro)

* Worldwide - Digipak gatefold CD album promo with fold-out map. Track listing identical to early copies of the commercial release (see albums). Cat No. SAM 892 (Blanco Y Negro)

* Missing (Mixes by Chris & James) - UK Promo 12" 1994. Only 250 copies. Plain white sleeve, orange sticker. Same Chris & James mixes as on Missing - The Full Remix EP (see singles). Released to clubs only. Promo catalogue number - SAM 1389 (Blanco Y Negro)
